Andrew started his electrical career with Amelco Electric LTD in 2001 and moved to Acutech Electric in 2003 as a third-year electrician. He received his journeyman and interprovincial in 2005 and advanced to a General Foreman. At the end of 2009 he was transferred to the office and took on the role of estimator/project manager. He worked in this position for the next 10 years before being presented with the opportunity to join the ownership team in 2020.
As a seasoned Electrical Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully overseeing complex electrical projects from conception to completion. With over 24 years of experience in the electrical field, he brings a wealth of expertise in managing diverse teams and ensuring the seamless execution of projects within budget and on schedule. Throughout Andrew’s career he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, effectively guiding multidisciplinary teams of contractors to deliver high-quality result and possesses a deep understanding of electrical systems and regulations, enabling him to provide innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each project.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Andrew is actively involved in the ECAA. He has served on the Calgary Chapter since 2012 and the Provincial board since 2017. He is committed to giving back to the community and fostering the next generation of electricians through mentorship and education initiatives.
